Future of Metaverse Experience
“The Sandbox is making strong progress in hinting at the possibilities of the Metaverse – open, fun, culturally rich, avatar-centric, story-driven activities supporting women, diversity, art, fashion, lifestyle, and more – as Alpha Season 2 begins, with our team, the community, and our partners creating exciting new content to support our two million users.”
Moreover, he praised the successes of Season 1 and mentioned the positive feedback from the community.
“Alpha Season 2 will build on the success of the first Alpha Season, which attracted over 200,000 visitors, earned 90% positive feedback, and distributed over five million $SAND.”
Lands are another hot thing in Metaverses these days. Namely, there are 166,464 total lands in The Sandbox and there are around 19,000 users who own lands in Sandbox.
Alongside users who own the lands, there are thousands of artists who work on making those lands better. This opens new opportunities for investors who are thinking about investing in Metaverse lands.
Despite live season 2 of the alpha launch and a major milestone for the game, SAND is down 4% over the last 24 hours.
Moreover, it is down more than 20% over the past 30 days and around 60% down from its all-time high from three months ago. The floor price of Sandbox’s virtual land dropped to $8,100, down 8% over the past week.
